According to the Research Study done by the Sharpiro Group:

Advocates of chambers of commerce have long believed that when a company is active in its local chamber, it is doing the right thing not only for the community but for its own success as well. While there is plenty of evidence to show the impact of chambers of commerce on their communities, it is much harder to find data that quantify the impact of belonging to a chamber. This study, commissioned by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives with support from Small Business Network, Inc., is designed to do just that: determine the real value to companies in terms of consumer outcomes of joining and being active in their local chamber of commerce. Do consumers really support businesses because they are chamber members?

• Most consumers (59%) think that being active in the local chamber of commerce is an effective business strategy overall. It is 29% more effective, however, for communicating to consumers that a company uses good business practices and 26% more effective for communicating that a business is reputable.
• If a company shows that it is highly involved in its local chamber (e.g., sits on the chamber board), consumers are 12% more likely to think that its products stack up better against its competition.
• When a consumer thinks that a company’s products stack up better against the competition because the company is highly involved in its local chamber of commerce, it is because he or she infers that the company is trustworthy, involved in the community, and is an industry leader.
• When consumers know that a restaurant franchise is a member of the chamber of commerce, they are 40% more likely to eat at the franchise in the next few months.
• When consumers know that an insurance company is a member of the chamber of commerce, they are 43% more likely to consider buying insurance from it.
• When consumers know that a small business is a member of the chamber of commerce, they are 44% more likely to think favorably of it and 63% more likely to purchase goods or services from the company in the future.

Memberships run on an monthly anniversary basis.

Chamber Monthly Luncheon

Methodist Ladies

With over 800 million monthly active users on Instagram, your business has the potential to reach, engage, and build a massive community on Instagram. But where do you start? How do you grow real followers that will actually impact your business goals? Trisha will walk through how to build your Instagram strategy.

Trisha Ventker is the Editor-In- Chief and Publisher of 3 magazines : Vlife , ELIFE and NoCo magazine and a branding and viral digital media expert. Ventker started publishing digital magazines in 2011. She also is the founder of the Erie Colorado Business Alliance (founded in 2009) and ELIFE and NoCo Masterminds.

For over 25 years, Trisha Ventker has been developing solutions and implementing methods that make things happen. She started her first business at the age of 20, worked as an educator, speaker, publisher author, editor-in-chief, video production manager and photographer for over 30 years. Trisha makes people confront comfort zones in a kind way. “Can’t be done” is not in her repertoire . Trisha has authored two books and has appeared on a myriad of media. With her viral digital marketing expertise, Ventker was able to achieve Amazon’s Best Seller List for both books. She also is the Editor-in-Chief and publisher of magazines NoCo, ELIFE and Vlife. Her forte is marketing print, broadcast, and online media outlets. Ventker is a serial entrepreneur and branding expert. Ventker develops brand strategies with a holistic approach to brand communications so that a company's brand touch-points (corporate identity, product design, website, retail environment, online marketing, traditional advertising, PR and word of mouth) all work in harmony to create a favorable perception in the mind of the prospects, increasing the chances of positively affecting purchase behavior. Trisha Ventker's specialty includes how consumers process information from brand touch-points, how they attend to, perceive, process and store that information; and how they retrieve and act on previous information from memory. Ventker focuses on the mind, perception, cognitive psychology, human nature and brain science to form a deep understanding of how people think and what makes them do, buy and love the things they do. Ventker is someone who pushes boundaries and challenges the status quo. She is brave, ambitious and passionate in everything she does. Just because you love your business doesn't mean it's always easy to tell your company's story to the world. It works the same way when you are an entrepreneur. It's difficult to brand yourself. That's where Trisha comes into play. Proper branding is part art, part science.
